What is Dwell?
Dwell is discipleship in two specific areas of our relationship with God. First, it is learning to sit in His presence, first to minister to Him in worship and then experience true communion with Him. This is learning to “dwell” in God’s presence. It is learning to enter His presence with the intent of staying for a while, to sit with Him and enjoy spending time with Him. It is learning to slow down, to rest in Him, to be quiet, to listen.
The second area, then, is learning to listen for the Holy Spirit to speak to you in ministry, first for you, but then for others as well. It is learning to trust that God wants to and will speak to you to minister to others and then learning to yield to that guidance and carry out that ministry.

Kerri Nichols
Kerri founded Dwell in her livingroom in August of 2020 with a group of six ladies who said 'yes' to drawing close to Jesus and learning from Him.
Her priority is to love and enjoy her husband of 39 years, Todd, and her 2 adult children and six grandchildren. Her daughter Laura, her husband and four children live in St. Augustine; her son Stephen, his wife and 2 children live in Jacksonville. They enjoy regular family celebrations, game nights, pool days, sleepovers, sports with the kids and so much more.
Equally important is her desire to help people grow in their relationship with God. This is shown in over 38 years of faithful devotion, with her husband, to local church ministry through participating in and leading in various serve teams, discipleship groups, classes, women's ministry, marriage and family ministry and more. This also includes serving with the FamilyLife Local Volunteer Team for 10 years and still currently, Certified Marriage Coaches through Marriage Team.
Kerri has attended Oceanway Church since 2016 and serves on staff as the Executive Administrator and Care Team Director.
